A MOTION acknowledging receipt of the parks, trails and open space replacement levy planning report required by the 2017-2018 Biennial Budget Ordinance, Ordinance 18409, Section 92, as amended by Ordinance 18766, Section 40, Proviso P2.

                     WHEREAS, the 2017-2018 Biennial Budget Ordinance, Ordinance 18409, Section 92, as amended by Ordinance 18766, Section 40, Proviso P2, which the King County council adopted and the executive approved, included a proviso encumbering a total of fifty thousand dollars from the parks operating levy fund and requiring a report to include a description of how plans for a parks, trails and open space replacement levy will include provisions to provide new and expanded options at Petrovitsky park and trailhead and parking improvements for the Green to Cedar trail at Summit park in Maple Valley, and

                     WHEREAS, the parks and recreation division of the department of natural resources and parks has submitted the planning report including a description of how plans for a parks, trails and open space replacement levy will include provisions to provide new and expanded options at Petrovitsky park and trailhead and parking improvements for the Green to Cedar trail at Summit park in Maple Valley, which is due to the King County council on September 27, 2018;

                     NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT MOVED by the Council of King County:

                     The King County council hereby acknowledges receipt of the planning report on Petrovitsky and Summit parks, Attachment A to this motion.
