Title

AN ORDINANCE establishing an enhanced 911 emergency telephone system new capital fund for the department of executive services; and adding a new section to K.C.C. chapter 4A.200.

Body

                     BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF KING COUNTY:

                     NEW SECTION.  SECTION 1.  There is hereby added to K.C.C. chapter 4A.200 a new section to read as follows:

                     A.  There is hereby created the enhanced 911 emergency telephone system capital fund.

                     B.  The fund shall be a first tier fund.  It is a capital projects fund.

                     C.  The director of the department of executive services shall be the manager of the fund.

                     D.  All receipts from transfers from the enhanced 911 emergency telephone system fund, bond proceeds, grants, and other revenues for enhanced 911 with a capital appropriation shall be deposited in the fund.

                     E.  The fund shall be used to support capital projects and equipment replacement related to the provision of an enhanced 911 emergency telephone system in King County.
