A MOTION accepting a report describing the results of a Lean process on overtime conducted by the department of adult and juvenile detention, in compliance with the 2015/2016 Biennial Budget Ordinance, Ordinance 17941, Section 48, Proviso P2, as amended by Ordinance 18239, Section 24, Proviso P2.

WHEREAS, the 2015/2016 Biennial Budget Ordinance, Ordinance 17941, Section 48, Proviso P2, as amended by Ordinance 18239, Section 24, Proviso P2, requires the executive to transmit a report describing the results of a Lean process on overtime conducted by the department of adult and juvenile detention and a motion accepting the report, and
WHEREAS, the 2015/2016 Biennial Budget Ordinance, Ordinance 17941, Section 48, Proviso P2, as amended by Ordinance 18239, Section 24, Proviso P2 provides that $100,000 shall not be expended or encumbered until both reports required by the proviso are accepted, and the motions accompanying these reports are passed, and
WHEREAS, the council has reviewed the report submitted by the executive;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT MOVED by the Council of King County:
The report describing the results of a Lean process on overtime conducted by the department of adult and juvenile detention, which is Attachment A to this motion, is hereby accepted in accordance with Ordinance 17941, Section 48, Proviso P2, as amended by Ordinance 18239, Section 24, Proviso P2.
