Title

A MOTION approving the report on the King County Courthouse building systems in response to the 2015/2016 Biennial Budget Ordinance, Ordinance 17941, Section 129, Proviso P5 as amended by Ordinance 18239, Section 41, Proviso P5.

Body

                     WHEREAS, the 2015/2016 Biennial Budget Ordinance, Ordinance 17941, Section 129, as amended by Ordinance 18239, Section 41, Proviso P5, with a due date of September 2, 2016, states that $500,000 of the appropriation to the capital improvement program shall not be expended or encumbered until the executive transmits a report on the King County Courthouse building systems and a motion that approves the report and the motion is passed by council, and

                     WHEREAS, the King County executive hereby transmits to the council a report on the King County Courthouse building systems and by this motion seeks approval of the report, and

                     WHEREAS, the report on the King County Courthouse building systems is submitted by the facilities management division to fulfill its respective proviso obligations;

                     NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT MOVED by the Council of King County:

                     The report on the King County Courthouse building systems, Attachment A to this motion, is hereby approved.
