A MOTION reappointing Jeffery Robinson to the King County public defense advisory board, representing a bar association identified as a minority bar association by the Washington State Bar Association.

WHEREAS, Jeffery Robinson was appointed by the county executive to an initial two-year term on the King County public defense advisory board, representing the Loren Miller Bar Association as a bar association identified as a minority bar association by the Washington State Bar Association, and his appointment was confirmed by the county council on July 14, 2014, by Motion 14178, and
WHEREAS, K.C.C. 2.60.031.E. provides in part that the county council may reappoint board members for additional three-year terms, and
WHEREAS, the Loren Miller Bar Association has expressed its support for Jeffery Robinson to continue to represent the association on the public defense advisory board and for the county council to reappoint him to a full three-year term expiring on June 30, 2019, and Jeffery Robinson has expressed his willingness to serve an additional, three-year term on the board;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT MOVED by the Council of King County:
Jeffery Robinson is hereby reappointed to the King County public defense advisory board, representing a bar association identified as a minority bar association by the Washington State Bar Association, to a three-year term to expire on June 30, 2019.
