Title

AN ORDINANCE authorizing the King County executive to enter into a lease agreement with Hangar Two, LLC, as tenant, for county-owned land located at the King County international airport in council district eight.

Body

STATEMENT OF FACTS:

1.  The facilities management division determined that the county should award a lease of the county-owned land located at 8465 Perimeter Road South, Seattle, Washington, through a negotiation with interested parties without bidding under K.C.C. 4.56.160.

2.  The facilities management division successfully negotiated a lease for the county-owned land with Hangar Two, LLC.

3.  The facilities management division gave notice of its intent to execute the lease by publishing a notice in the Seattle Times once a week for two weeks on June 20, 2016.

                     BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF KING COUNTY:

                     SECTION 1.  In accordance with K.C.C. chapters 4.56 and 15.72, the executive is authorized to execute a lease for the county-owned land with Hangar Two, LLC,

substantially in the form of Attachment A to this ordinance, and to take all actions necessary to implement the terms of the lease.
