Title
A MOTION designating the specific positions in the west division of King County district court to which appointments were made by Motions 14636 and 14637.
Body
WHEREAS, by Motion 14636, the council on May 9, 2016, appointed Lisa Paglisotti to fill a vacancy in the west division of King County district court, and
WHEREAS, by Motion 14637, the council on May 9, 2016, appointed Gregg Hirakawa to fill a vacancy in the west division of King County district court, and
WHEREAS, the motions did not specify the specific positions within the west division to which Ms. Paglisotti and Mr. Hirakawa were appointed, and
WHEREAS, the council wishes to clarify its intent in making the appointments;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT MOVED by the Council of King County:
A. Lisa Paglisotti is appointed to Judge Position No. 1 in the west division of King County district court, filling the vacancy created by the appointment of Judge Johanna Bender to King County superior court.
B. Gregg Hirakawa is appointed to Judge Position No. 4 in the west division of
King County district court, filling the vacancy created by the retirement of Judge Eileen Kato.
