Title
A MOTION appointing members to the leadership group and the project coordination team of the King County E-911 strategic plan scoping committee; and rescinding Motion 14488 and Motion 14556.
Body
WHEREAS, Ordinance 18139 established the King County E-911 strategic plan scoping committee, consisting of a leadership group and a project coordination team, and
WHEREAS, the committee's purpose is to recommend a strategic planning process report as specified in Ordinance 18139 by May 31, 2016, and
WHEREAS, Ordinance 18139 requested the specified entities to make recommendations of persons to serve on as members of the leadership group or the project coordination team, with the council appointing such members by motion, and
WHEREAS, the King County council passed Motion 14488 appointing members to the leadership group and project coordination team, including the chair of the King County council's budget and fiscal management committee, the chair of the King County council's law, justice and emergency management committee and the council vice chair of regional coordination, and
WHEREAS, the King County council passed Motion 14556 appointing members of the Seattle city council to the leadership group of the King County E-911 strategic plan scoping committee, and
WHEREAS, the King County council approved Ordinance xxxx (Proposed Ordinance 2016-0095), adding the vice chair of the budget and fiscal management committee and the vice chair of the law and justice committee to the list of persons eligible to be appointed to the leadership group of the E-911 strategic plan scoping committee;
NOW THEREFORE BE IT MOVED by the Council of King County:
A. Motion 14488 is hereby rescinded.
B. Motion 14556 is hereby rescinded.
C. The members of the leadership group of the E-911 strategic plan scoping committee listed in Attachment A to this motion are hereby appointed.
D. The members of the project coordination team of the E-911 strategic plan scoping committee listed in Attachment B to this motion are hereby appointed.
E. This motion takes effect on the effective date of Ordinance xxxx (Proposed Ordinance 2016-0095).
