AN ORDINANCE relating to the annexation of approximately 15 acres of land into the Midway sewer district, known as the Argus Annexation, for the purpose of sewer service.

STATEMENT OF FACTS:
1. A notice of intention proposing the annexation of approximately 15 acres of land into the Midway sewer district, known as Argus Annexation, for the purpose of providing sewer service was filed with the county council on April 16, 2015.
2. Midway sewer district has approved the proposed transfer subject to action by the Boundary Review Board in Resolution No. 2015-05, passed on April 8, 2015.
3. The Midway sewer district filed a determination of nonsignificance on the proposed annexation dated March 17, 2015.
4. The utilities technical review committee reviewed the Midway sewer district's comprehensive plan, and found that plan meets the criteria for approval.
5. The county council held the legally required public hearing and has considered the criteria in RCW 57.02.040.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF KING COUNTY:
SECTION 1. The annexation of approximately 15 acres of land into the Midway sewer district for the purpose of providing sewer service described in Attachment A to this ordinance is approved. Approval of this proposed annexation is consistent with RCW 57.02.040.
SECTION 2. The Midway sewer district is the appropriate entity to serve the area proposed to be annexed.
SECTION 3. Completion of this annexation does not constitute county approval
or disapproval of any other permits, certifications or actions necessary to provide service to this annexation area.
