Approval of Minutes  
Councilmember Dembowski moved approval of the February 28, 2024, meeting  
minutes. There being no objections, the minutes were approved.

AN ORDINANCE authorizing the manager of treasury operations of King County to cancel the attached  
list of uncollectible personal property taxes in the amount of $1,455,288 for the years 2015 through 2023.  
Brandi Paribello, Council staff, briefed the committee and answered questions from  
the members. Mark Thompson, Property Tax Supervisor, Treasury Operation Section,  
Finance and Business Operations Division, answered questions from the members.  
A motion was made by Vice Chair Dembowski that this Ordinance be  
Recommended Do Pass Consent. The motion carried by the following vote:

A MOTION authorizing the King County executive to accept a donation of real property located at 1514  
and 1520 NE 146th Street, in the city of Shoreline, located in council district one, to King County.  
Sam Porter, Council staff, briefed the committee and answered questions from the  
members. Tony Wright, Director, Facilities Management Division, Department of  
Executive Services, answered questions from the members. Councilmember  
Dembowski moved striking amendment S2. The amendment was adopted.  
This matter was expedited to the March 19, 2024, Council agenda.  
A motion was made by Vice Chair Dembowski that this Motion be  
Recommended Do Pass Substitute Consent. The motion carried by the  
following vote:
